Wilbur B. Quon, CPA
Wil Quon, CPA is the founding partner of Quon & Associates and has been in public practice with his own accounting practice since 2004. Wil began his financial career with a Santa Monica-based CPA firm in 1997 and eventually went on to become, in 2002, chief financial officer for a boutique publishing firm. Wil returned to public accounting in 2004 with the opening of his own firm. Wil provides business consulting, tax consulting and services to a wide range of clients and works with high net worth individuals and their closely held entities. His industry concentrations include manufacturing, health care, technology, financial services, distribution and service industries. Wil also has experience with a variety of entities including S corporations, C corporations, LLCs, partnerships, estates, trusts and nonprofit organizations.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Wil received his bachelor's degree in 1995 from University of California, Santa Barbara and obtained his CPA in 2000.
Arnold C Quon, CPA
Arnold Quon, CPA is a partner at Quon & Associates. He graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with an emphasis in Accounting.
Prior to joining Quon & Associates in 2005, Arnold worked in a Santa Monica-based CPA firm for five years. He obtained his CPA license in 2004. His clientele ranges from individuals and family-owned businesses to multimillion dollar entities. His industry concentrations include restaurant,manufacturing, wholesale, retail and professional service companies. He frequently works to set up and train clients to use accounting softwares such as Quickbooks, Peachtree and Mas200. He is well versed in payroll and sales tax issues. He is experienced in a variety of entities including sole proprietors, C corporations, S corporation, LLCs, partnerships and 501 (c)(3) organizations.
Kyle K. Bartleson, CPA, MBT
Kyle K. Bartleson, CPA MBT brings over 13 years of tax and accounting experience to his clients. He earned his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Oklahoma City University and his Masters of Business Taxation from the University of Southern California. Kyle launched his public accounting career with the international accounting firm of Price Waterhouse in their Oklahoma City office. He worked with clients in variety of industries ranging in size from family owned enterprises to multinational public companies. During his tenure with this firm he specialized in financial institutions and oil & gas exploration and production companies.
In 1997 Kyle went to work for the CPA firm of Grant Thornton, where he spent six months in Oklahoma City before relocating to their Los Angeles office. Kyle’s tax experience with Grant included tax planning and compliance for advertising agencies, law firms, stock traders, real estate investors, oil and gas operators and investors, manufacturers and numerous non-profit organizations . He has an outstanding knowledge of C corporations, partnerships, S Corporations and 501 (c)(3) organizations.
Kyle’s clients have also included high-net worth individuals for whom he has helped develop tax reduction strategies including planning for charitable giving, stock option exercise, family gifting and shareholder buyout agreements. Kyle has helped his clients determine the proper entity structure for their businesses by taking into account such things as the impact of changes in tax laws, employee benefits, foreign tax considerations and the owners’ ultimate exit strategies.
Kyle left Grant as a Tax Manager in the Fall of 2000 to establish a tax department for a newly-formed web hosting company that was about to embark on a global expansion. Kyle developed and implemented numerous tax planning strategies for the company before accepting a position as an International tax manager for a Fortune 500 company. Kyle’s experience in both public accounting and corporate tax departments have provided him not only an outstanding tax and accounting background, but also a true appreciation for the every day practicalities that confront businesses and their owners.
